At Valley View, we are all about FAMILY.

we do our best to create an environment that helps our students feel comfortable and relaxed. We discussed with several of our students what their description of our youth ministry was and almost all of their descriptions contained this word. . . Family.

Our students love being around each other. It doesn't matter if we're singing, praying, sitting quietly in a Bible Study or playing board games. We just want an excuse to be around each other. We don't even need something to do. Talking and hanging out is more than enough to keep us together.

I say all this because we all understand why we get opportunities to be together. There's a reason we enjoy being around each other. There's a reason we get to be like. . . FAMILY. It's because the creator of the Universe treats us like family. God calls us to be his sons. He is our father. We try and imitate the example of Jesus in following our father the same as Jesus follows his. There are 2 passages that Jesus tells us are the Greatest Commandments and they are found in Matthew 22.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

We do our absolute best to adopt these two commandments and implement them into our every day lives. When we do it successfully, we find ourselves with FAMILY. The best part about this family is that anyone can be a part of it. We are always growing and including others as we go. We love meeting new family members and building relationships with new brothers and sisters. We do hundreds of activities and events each year. We offer lots of bible studies, devotionals, activities, and more all the time. We would love for you to join our GROUPME and REMIND groups to hear when each event is.
