Valley View as a Sponsor
To put it simply, sponsoring a mission work is a great responsibility.
A sponsoring congregation has primary oversight for and most often the largest financial investment in a mission effort. As a sponsoring church for two efforts, we have the blessing (and sometimes the burden) of living and seeing a different part of the world through those missionaries. We should be so involved in these missions that we rejoice in their triumph and suffer in their distress - and that takes considerable communication and work on both sides of the equation.
